My name is Marc Klemp, I come from Denmark, and is an active "Alex Kidd: in Miracle World" player.
I got Sega Master System and the first "Alex Kidd" game when I was three years old.
I remember playing it on an old black/white television, so I couldn't see what some of the elements where.
One of my favorite elements in the game is the Peticopter, it is one of the things that really makes the game special, and far superior to the "Super Mario Bros.".
One of the levels I think are the hardest is "The Radactian Castle" (level 8), especially the room where gas comes out from the roof, and you have to punch the pink box to open a path out of the room.
When I got the Sega Saturn, it made me put my Sega Master System away, so I didn't play on it for quite a while. But I started playing my Sega Master System again since a year ago.
I created the fan-site of "Alex Kidd: in Miracle World".
I don't understand Japanese, but a nice Japanese guy translated the interview via IRC.
I must say I was really surprised when I saw the page.
"Alex Kidd" has always been surrounded by loads of mystery, and to read an interview of the creator himself is ecstatic :-) I especially liked the part where you are playing "Alex Kidd: in Miracle World" again, after 15 years :-)
I would like to thank you for reading all of this, even though it isn't in Japanese.
And last but not least: thank you for making "Alex Kidd: in Miracle World"!
(Marc Klemp / MALE / 17)
